A nice, clean older restoration, done in the early 1990s and has seen little use. Engine rebuilt around 8000 miles ago (our tests: 140-145 psi compression in every cylinder, no smoke, 65 psi oil pressure when warm, very clean engine bay, nicely painted and detailed), smooth performance, runs exceptionally well.

Things we can see: very nice paint certainly ample for low key show use, very nice interior, beautifully detailed dashboard. Brakes look almost new, has a new radiator with optional shrould, new braided metal fuel lines, chassis is painted and detailed as are inner fenders and panels...all signs of a body off restoration. Battery boxes look great as does the wood floor (as you can see, I crawled around underneath with a flashlight). No signs of rust anywhere. And a thorough external `run` of my kitchen magnet uncovered one small area with some bondo....oh, maybe 98% bondo free? But with no bubbles or cracks after the paint has been on for nearly 20 years, does it matter?

Has good top and tonneau, chrome is generally like new, fairly new radial tires, spotless trunk (even with the original jack and cranking handle), recently got a new steering rack and tie rod ends, engine bay is very clean and nicely detailed, everything works properly, and it GOES. A pretty quick 1600 Mk I.

Overall, a nice `road` MGA suitable for all but the most intense shows. And available at a very reasonable price.
