Quite a find.....ALWAYS in Texas, absolutely rust and bondo free, as perfect an original body as we have ever seen. With very good old English white paint. And all new red leather interior.

Excellent mechanicals.....145-150 psi compression in every cylinder, 65 psi oil pressure when warm, zero smoke, perfect running, quiet gearbox (even in 1st and reverse gears), all original gauges work, original wiring harness is in very good condition, very good chrome, wire wheels with new splines, hardware, and chrome knock offs, very good top and side curtains, as straight and clean an original unmolested car as one could imagine finding.

Curiously, NEVER had a heater, was originally an option this car didn`t get Want a heater? No problem....easily and readily installed. But why bother?

The 1600 offers a perfect compromise in a classic sports car.....with its 83hp engine and disc brakes, will cruise nicely (and this car has an oil cooler ensuring cooler running) at 70, 80, or more mph. Excellent ride, sensational steering and handling, inherently reliable and easy to service, and (how can I forget) beautiful body lines. One of the prettiest classic sports cars of all.

It literally is like going back in time.......a beautiful classic car ideal for general use.
