One of the best when we sold this to a doctor in Memphis four years ago, even better now (having just taken it in trade towards an AH 3000 Mk III). Excellent body, red paint, chassis, black interior, etc.

Rebuilt MGB engine (of little consequence `for originality` other than it would take an expert to tell the difference), around 100hp, side draft 45DCOE Weber carb, headers, rebuilt Ford T9 five speed transmission (HUGE difference over `stock` being all synchromesh, closer ratios, stronger, easier to shift, and.....fifth gear), rebuilt back axle with MGB 3.9 final drive (wonderful on the highway, even at 75, 85, or more mph), wire wheels, disc brakes (with new calipers), and..........

Went over the body with a small magnet, no sign or plastic filler, beautiful paint with a true mirror image reflection, mostly new chrome, excellent floors and chassis, tight steering, excellent ride, very good top and side curtains, new tonneau, all new interior (black with red piping), dash, gauges, switches, all in show condition, even the interior light works. Spotless engine bay, excellent wiring, new exhaust, new rubber light seals, an MG octagon ignition key, new seat belts, wood steering wheel, carpeted trunk compartment, the list is almost endless.

Starts `on the button,` runs beautifully, hard to find fault. And with approximately the same horsepower as a late model MGA Twin Cam, with the excellence of the 5 speed, the higher gearing of the MGB diff, this is one fantastic MGA. NOT suggesting `one of the world`s best` but, in my opinion, how much better might one expect to find?
