A surprisingly good car that seems to have survived the rigors of `life on the road.`

Went over the edges of the body with my kitchen magnet, stuck everywhere. Fenders, rockers, lower quarters, doglegs, kind of remarkable. And floors look nice and solid.

Engine: 140-145 psi compression in every cylinder, no smoke, 60+ psi oil pressure when warm, AND fitted with a later model all synchromesh transmission (a huge advantage in reliability and use). Has wire wheels, front end is in very good condition (especially as we just disassembled it, cleaned and painted components, fitted new springs, new bushings, new tie rod ends, and sway bar links), has a 3/4" front sway bar for improved handling, brakes appear to have been just done, new flex lines, has an oil cooler, and a nice, tidy engine bay.

Top appears to be new as does most of the interior. Redone seats, panels, carpets, dash, dash top, all original working instruments, has a tonneau, very clean trunk compartment, excellent chrome, new knock offs, seat belts and has been converted to negative ground and fitted with a modern stereo/CD.

Nice car. As an early `pull handle` MGB, the rarest and most collectible of the breed. And a dandy car to drive (with a powerful auxiliary heater, I drive my virtually identical `65 all year round).
