A really nice MGB of one of the best sub-series....the 1972-1974 cars had an improved dash with glove box (unlike the 1968-1971s), still chrome bumper, an excellent compromise.
This car: 61k miles, perfect floors, inner sills, rockers, still with factory undercoating, excellent body, repainted (in original BRG) in 2010, still very nice, mostly new chrome, wire wheels, new premium quality Dunlop radials, new knock offs, excellent brownish-tan interior, very good top and tonneau, excellent mechanicals, 70 psi oil pressure, no smoke, strong performance, new brake flex lines and calipers rebuilt, OVERDRIVE transmission in perfect working order, zero rust in the trunk, everything works electrically, new fuel pump, new muffler and pipe,. front end feels nice and solid, what else is there?
Just fitted with a wood steering wheel, wood dash, new stereo/CD with USB input, new speakers, runs and drives very well. A beautiful MGB ready for all season use.
THIS IS NOT a 'restored' car by technical standards but a beautiful, repainted, thoroughly gone through car that is very nicely prepared, runs and drives approximately the way it did over forty years ago, is a nice combination of very original (and rust free) and recently redone. One of the best all around MGBs we have seen in a while. And with the added advantage of overdrive, offering SEVEN forward ratios.
And looks great.
