A very nice car, acquired from a local customer of our's. Body seems to be excellent, went over the edges of the body, rockers, lower doors, around the headlights and even the top body seams with my 'inspection' magnet...stuck everywhere. With very nice yellow paint.
Floors and chassis seem excellent, was professional rust proofed by Zeibart, seats are leather from a Miata (we also have the originals) with new built in headrest speakers, rubber overriders have been removed (but come with the car), chrome is very good throughout, AND new Michelin X redline tires (very expensive and THE tires for this make and model car).
Mechanically seems excellent, 80 psi oil pressure, no smoke, has only covered 48,000 miles since new, very clean engine bay, no clunks in the rear suspension, excellent steering, brakes, ride, etc. And work recently done (much of it by us): 4 new gas shocks, new clutch hydraulics, new master cylinder, new radiator, rear end disassembled and resealed, front end bushings, and other work.
Top is quite good BUT also comes with a brand new top, still in the box. Can't think of much else to add. Exhaust has twin pipes and is quiet, wood dash is very nice, carpets look new, trunk is carpeted and very clean, everything works, and TR6s make fun country road or distance cruisers. The big six cylinder engine is very smooth, tons of torque, effortless to shift, and IF you want a reasonably priced classic car that is comfortable, reliable, easy to own, this could very well be the ideal car.
