A beautiful rust free `73 (an ideal year...still with chrome bumpers, nice dash, modern safety equipment), older but still very nice paint, same with original interior....very attractive with wood dash.
Has wire wheels, oil cooler, very good top, rebuilt front end, new master cylinder, rebuilt front calipers, carefully maintained and garaged since we sold this car to a local customer in 2012.
Runs very well....compression is 175-180 psi in every cylinder, no smoke cold or hot, 65-70 psi oil pressure when warm. Wiring harness is not worn out nor molested....a good sign of a well kept car.
Floors are exceptional, no rust, just factory undercoating. Same with trunk floor....no rust. And went over the exterior with a magnet, no sign of plastic filler. ALL of this is most unusual on any near fifty year old car.
All in all, a nice, clean, excellent running and driving MGB. And with the powerful auxiliary heaters we offer as options, one can use this car in colder weather....the perfect means of practicing social distancing!
