Just in.....was sitting for 10 years BUT, as a California car, no rust. Really perfect underneath.
Work just finished: fuel tank and lines cleaned, new fuel pump fitted, 32/36 DGV Weber carb installed, having run the engine for a while, perfect compression and oil pressure. Same with front end and transmission...all in excellent working order.
We just replaced all of the clutch hydraulics, replaced calipers, flex lines, rear wheel cylinders and master cylinder. Installed a new wood dash, new carpets interior panels, very good original seats
A beautiful set of new chrome bolt on wire wheels, a new stereo/CD unit with USB input and new speakers, AND.....as a car on the wrong side of "1974 1/2"we lowered it to pre 75 ride height and did a complete chrome bumper conversion. We even eliminated the side lights giving the exterior the same look as the earliest MGBs.
Very good top and boot cover, oil cooler, new 3 pt belts, excellent wiring and electrics, in many ways most of the virtues of both the earliest and latest MGBs.....all synchromesh transmission, alternator, dual master cylinder, better controls, and far more reliable than early cars.
Excellent body with very nice red paint.......we blended in the corners, wet sanded and buffed the rest and the result came out looking almost 'like new.'
