A car we prepared for a NYC owner, little used and just back for resale. Really excellent body and floors/sills/rockers/chassis, etc. Our painter suspects most of the paint is original with a few spots touched in. But looks great with excellent door fit and razor straight down the sides.

76,000 original miles (which works out to be fat less than 2,000 miles a year), 145-150 psi compression in every cylinder, 70 psi oil pressure on the highway when warm, zero smoke. Fitted with a new 32/36 DGV Weber carb with electric choke and premium ANSA performance exhaust system. 4 speed transmission shifts perfectly, clutch feels like new, brakes redone AND...........underwent our conversion technique.....lowered to pre 1975 ride height, a complete professional chrome bumper conversion, all new chrome, Mk I grille, looks great.

Excellent original interior (but did get new carpets), wood dash, modern Pioneer stereo/CD, new top, has boot cover, original jack and knock off hammer, wire wheels with 185/70 radials, luggage rack, and the result is a wonderful MGB. Remember, these ``later cars` had front and rear sway bars, power assist disc brakes, electronic ignition, thermostatically controlled electric radiator cooling fans, better engine and trans mountings, better electrics, bigger gauges, better controls, AND.......even better.....who would have purchased an (the way it came into our workshop) ugly, gutless, and ill handling sports car back forty years ago? Odds are, a fella who just wanted a fun `round down` classic with such disappearing things as real knock off wheels, vent windows, real gauges, and classic `feel.` And now, NO LONGER ugly, gutless or ill handling. In a real sense, the best of the old and new.

Starts instantly, runs flawlessly, excellent ride, quick steering, good throttle response, and simple to service and repair. With the electric choke, general use is as easy as a modern car. And while this car is not going to hit 130 mph, it will cruise nicely at 60, 70, or 80 mph which is more than sufficient to enjoy fun driving.
