A beautiful example....NO rust underneath, excellent body and paint, excellent interior, excellent drive train....rare (and for some) desirable automatic transmission. Which works perfectly.
Top is very good, same with trunk compartment, has a nice set of (new) mag wheels, stereo, quiet exhaust, really doesn`t miss a beat.
And lets face it........for many, the auto trans is just not in the cards. But for others....how nice to be able to drive a non depreciating classic that has contemporary use, ample performance, is quiet, refined, excellent rid,e sufficient room in the back for a bit god or two kids, and looks great.
Last owner treated this car as his baby and had a lot of work done over the years. Has covered 86,000 miles BUT due to a timing belt failure, the engine`s top end was professionally rebuilt at 61,000 miles. Also, at 54,000 miles, the transmission was removed, disassembled, any worn parts rreplaced and it works like new. Among the long list of other work was: new tires, new top, new radiator, new fuel tank, new fuel pump, new starter, new Weber carb, new rear shocks, repainted at 64k miles, on and on.
Seems the car went into storage at 46,000 miles and sat there for many yeas, hence, the mileage is accurate and the last owner spent a lot to bring the car up to really excellent condition.
A great chance to buy a simple, reliable, easy to service classic with auto trans.
