A car undergoing (at the moment) a complete chrome bumper conversion. But, in reading the last owner`s list of work, WOW.....read on.....

Last owner drove the car around 1500 miles over three years, Prior to his purchase, was sitting in a finished basement for twenty years. So this is what he did: block hot tanked, magnafluxed, lightly decked, bored .020` over and painted internally (no kidding, this is what he wrote to me), new pistons, crank carefully measured and polished, new cam bearings fitted, new Delta D9 high performance camshaft, new tappets, cylinder head: replaced with superior non smog head, new valves and springs, 25D distributor advance modified by local speed shop, Weber 45 DCOE fitted to short TWM manifold, new oil cooler with new stainless steel lines, new oil pressure, new AP clutch and pressure plate, flywheel resurfaced, new ring gear installed, new steel headers and new Monza exhaust, only the highest quality Brad Penn oil used and changed every Summer.

Whew, quite an engine.....but read on....

All wires and hydraulics covered with split loom tubing, custom HDPE plastic fan shroud, heater rebuilt.......suspension: new AutoMec brake pipe set with new flex hoes, new front rotors and calipers, new rear brake drums and shoes, new fuel tank and sending unit, new fuel pump, and then the interior....

New carpet set, custom inlaid Maple/Cherry center console with Glow Shift gauges: vacuum, oil temp, and voltage gauges. AND ALL OF THIS in a very sold, not rusty body/chassis. With new deep BRG paint over an excellent body.

Now, there WAS a roll bar which we instantly removed. And while the suspension, brakes, and drive train sound fantastic, had some question with his choice of exterior aesthetics. Hence, now in our workshop finishing the chrome bumper conversion (that he started), and very soon will have one incredible MGB in British Racing Green with tan interior.mostly new tan interior.
