Undoubtedly the best, most thoroughly rebuilt and restored TF we have ever had for sale. And not just a `TF` but the `TF1500.` One of only 3,400 built.

Body off, frame up, spotlessly detailed and painted under the fenders, chassis, suspension, exterior, paint, chrome, rubber, trim....all in show condition. Interior in deep red leather, dash and switches all new and beautifully detailed, rebuilt engine (yes, yes, yes....`numbers matching`), rebuilt transmission, new cloth wiring harness, new tan cloth top, tonneau, and side curtains, driving lights, luggage rack, doesn`t miss a beat.

Acquired from the daughter of the deceased last owner so I couldn`t get a history. But the photos show the obvious, every detail is terribly close to perfect. AND has been in my collection since the Summer, put a few hundred miles on it around my neighborhood. Maintained 55psi oil pressure when warm (factory perfect), all original gauges worked perfectly, never had seat belts (until I installed them), never had a radio (until I installed a digital unit with bluetooth and USB input, speakers AND antenna hidden under the dash), was an absolute dream to drive. The 1500cc XPEG (with H4 SU carbs) engine providing more horsepower and torque than the TC/TD/TF1250`s XPAG engine, actually has a good bit of zooooom. Not wheel spinning but never had an issue in climbing hills.

After a few hundred miles of use, no doubt there is a touch of dirt or oil here or there in the engine bay or front suspension, easily washed off. But with a bit of hosing and this car is ready to drive to a fairly serious show.

And after some careful thought and the acquisition of a third Morgan (and a Mini 1300 and small mouth TR3 with o`drive), the TF has been elected to depart and grace someone else`s collection. BUT PLEASE, if local and if interested, this car is NOT at our office, rather, in my barn and can be shown by appointment, even in the evening or weekends. Starts instantly, runs flawlessly, soft ride, quick precise steering, excellent overall performance, and a delight to one`s eye. All reasons for my purchase.

PS When I posted the photos, I noticed the ones taken outside looked too white and the ones taken inside with flash looked too yellow. It isn`t either, rather, a beautiful soft pale yellow `primrose.` Which works perfectly with the deep red leather interior.
