It is always fun to keep at least one 'a project in the making' car in our inventory. Which is this, a TR3a with working overdrive and wire wheels (the two most desirable factory options) AND in need of paint (current paint is ancient, seems to be original, but body is excellent), assembly (car has new seats and interior panels, needs installation and new carpets), needs brakes, some trim, basically 'finishing' work.
Clearly someone started this project and a buyer can finish it OR have our workshop complete the car exactly as the new owner wants.
Appears to have been last registered in Missouri and shows 66,000 miles on the odometer. We drove it down the road, didn't smoke, had good oil pressure, and overdrive kicked in and out properly. A good beginning.
But an opportunity, pick the color, decide on this and that. Engine bay detailing? Accessories? Painted or chrome wire wheels? We can finish this car in any form, color, or degree of detailing a new owner might want. We can even dye the interior in an alternate color. Inquire for more details.
