A car that has clearly had a lot of work. Work we can see: new paint, new chrome, all new floors, other new floor pieces (jacking points as an example) have been added, new Minilite light alloy wheels with new 175/65 radials, new seats, new carpets, new interior panels, new digital stereo with bluetooth, new speakers.
Engine has 150-155 psi compression in every cylinder, 80 psi oil pressure at operating temperature (on an 80 degree day), new Weber carb, new chrome headers, excellent wiring and electrics, smooth and powerful, excellent ride and steering, excellent gearbox, all in all, a nice rust free 50+year old classic GT car.
I know, have a near identical 1974 which I love. Have added a full sunroof for warm weather and a powerful supplemental heater for cold weather. Makes for a dandy all season car and great on long trips. Was actually the first popular priced car to have a hatchback (Aston being the first) and result is a roomy, usable interior.
