Nice car that we have been servicing for a local customer for quite a while.
Very clean exterior, v.g paint and chrome, wire wheels, good top and tonneau. In a good long test drive, no smoke, excellent oil pressure (60-65 when hot), excellent synchronizer action, no clutch slip or chatter, brakes pulled straight with no indication or rotor warpage, no clunks, and the engine pulled smoothly and with lively acceleration.
Interior is very nice, all done in deep red with matching dash and trim. And a nice wood dash and console cover. Not perfect but VERY good for a near fifty year old car. No rust in the trunk, everything works electrically, excellent directional stability, overall......a very nice MGB. And 1972-1974s are among the best of the Bs, still with chrome bumpers but far more safety equipment than earlier Bs. And a nice dash with glove box and air vents, unlike 1968-1971 Bs.
