Stock # NE-1973-41

An usually clean car, has only covered 60,000 miles since new, excellent body with well preserved original Teal blue paint (looks almost 'as new') Excellent floors with original paint and. some minor surface rust along the sides (no rust perforation). Which can be removed with a wire brush.

Excellent interior in Camel, even has it original factory AM radio. Top is in very good condition (and could b is original) and also includes its original boot cover. Its chrome luggage rack sells for $300 and is a nice addition. And even the original chrome is in very good condition. Even more unusual, all of the engine bay stickers, on the air cleaners, air pump, etc. are all there and in great condition.

Excellent drive train, 75 psi oil pressure when warm, 150 psi compression in every cylinder, no clutch chatter or slippage, gearbox is quiet and has excellent synchromesh action. Twin SU carbs provide ample power and smooth running but, if preferred, easy for us to install a new Weber 32/36 DGV carb.
And rather rare in still having the entire original emission/air pump system (which we can easily remove if a buyer prefers)

Currently with the factory Rostyle 'mag' wheels (and 175/70-14 radials) BUT we can easily convert to wire wheels or install Minilite or factory 'Limited Edition' alloy wheels.

All of the gauges work as do all of the lights, wipers, horn, etc. All in all, a very nice clean original MGB of an excellent year (unlike the 1968-1971 Bs, this has a proper glove box and dash mounted air vents making it easy to add a/c). but by 1974 1/2, the cars got the rubber bumpers and by 1977, a single Stomberg carb and reduced horsepower. Which makes the 1972-1974 MGBs so desirable.

Driving a 1973 MGB is literally like going back in time.......we can add a/c for hot weather climates and also a powerful supplemental heater where it gets cold. Excellent ride, handling, steering, precise shifting, and will easily cruise at 80-90 mph.

Other options we can add is dying the dash and center console n matching Camel, fitting a burl wood dash, and a modern digital stereo with bluetooth.

Another small detail: comes with its original BL "passport of service' booklet showing its original owner (a military Colonel) and info from the original dealer. A wonderful bit of continuity.
