Another in a series of beautiful redone MGBs..........our starting point was an excellent, rust free, superb driving late model B.

With lots of virtues along with expected factory provided negatives (hmm, lets see........ugly, gutless, ill handling....). All now rectified.

Excellent engine and transmission with very desirable overdrive, clicks in and out perfectly, wonderful on the highway with lower revs, quieter, less engine wear, better economy. Excellent wiring harness, everything electrical works, has center lock wire wheels, 175/65 high speed radials, AND (of course) we did a professional and complete chrome bumper conversion using new lights, sheet metal, bumpers, Mk I grille, and ever plated over the four corners, eliminated the side lights, and blended in the paint.

Has a Weber 32/36 DGV carb, better manifolding, has been lowered to pre 1975 ride height, rebuilt front end, new springs, brakes checked, everything to eliminate the factory weaknesses.

Floors, sills, chassis are all excellent and the superior factory undercoating is still intact and doing what it was designed to do.....keep this car `underneath,` in excellent condition.

All new interior, extra thick padding under the carpets, new tan top, spotless trunk, very clean engine bay, new fuse box with modern fuses, spin on oil cooler, powerful radiator fans (and an enlarged radiator for better cooling), power assist for the disc brakes, new wood burl dash and matching wood steering wheel, and a modern stereo.

All to provide a new owner with a stylish, 40+ year old classic that can be used as a reasonable alternative to a contemporary sports car. Perhaps nowhere near the performance BUT a wonderful cruiser that is comfortable at 80-90 mph (isn`t anything above that kind of academic?), cheap to service and repair, sturdy mechanicals, smooth ride, excellent handling, and lots of fun. Which is the point of all this, isn`t it?
