Not completely restored but has had a lot of work done to prepare a wonderful 43 year old classic.
Excellent body and paint, excellent floors and inner sills/rockers, No sign of rust, damage, or patching. And for better aesthetics, we performed a comprehensive chrome bumper conversion and even eliminated the side lights....with all new chrome, Mk I grille, the exterior is very close to the earliest and best looking MGBs.
Excellent drive train, no smoke, 140-145 psi compression, 75 psi oil pressure when warm, no smoke, fitted with a Weber carb and improved manifolds, 4 speed gearbox with perfect working overdrive, just installed a new wood steering wheel and burled wood dash, new top, excellent tonneau, and new carpets. Even has a new stainless steel exhaust system.
14` wire wheels, lowered to pre 1975 ride height, rebuilt front end, redone brakes (power assisted discs), very nicely detailed inside and out.
Looks great, drives great, and as a later model MGB, has such virtues as a larger radiator, thermostatically controlled radiator cooling fans, electronic ignition, stronger trans and back axle, better instruments, better electrical system, all inall, a FAR more reliable car than earlier MGBs.
Done, ready to drive anywhere.
