Another in a series of excellent, low mileage, `improved` MGBs

What a fantastic starting point, 37,000 original miles, excellent body, paint, interior, chassis, floors, sills, trunk and engine compartments. Near perfect is always a dandy beginning.

Compression is 140-150 psi in every cylinder, no smoke, 65-70+ psi oil pressure, fitted with a new Weber carb, smooth and lively performance. Coupled to an excellent 4 speed transmission with OVERDRIVE (and it works perfectly `in` and `out` quickly). Brakes, ride, handling, steering all feel `as new.`

Top looks new, the entire interior is near perfect, modern stereo/CD, new chrome exhaust (very impressive), in every way it doesn`t miss a beat.

Had a new set of English made Minilite style alloy wheels (and looked great)......want wire wheels? A snap as we keep everything to do the conversion in stock. (and a choice of painted or chrome)

NOW..............work we just finished: lowered ride height to pre 1975 standards, rebushed front end and new springs, a complete professional chrome bumper conversion.....new Mk I grille, new bumpers and guards, new sheet metal, new lights, new brackets, NOW has the same exterior aesthetics of a pre 1968 MGB...the best looking of all. AND we also removed the side lights, welding over the holes, blending in matching paint, and the result............the best of all MGB worlds.

See, the later cars had a lot of virtues.....electronic ignition, larger radiators, thermostatically controlled electric radiator fans, two speed heater blower, front and rear sway bars, bigger gauges, better electrical systems, extensive factory undercoating, servo assist disc brakes, stronger gearboxes and back axles, safety door locks, on and on. With just three tiny deficiencies.....ugly, gutless, and ill handling. All of which we have rectified.

And absolutely stunning in Russet Brown with a tan interior, new Honey Teak wood dash and a matching wood steering wheel. Truly a car one could use as an alternative to a contemporary car, easily capable of cruising long distances (with the advantage of the overdrive transmission), back country roads, even day to day. And with only 37,000 original miles (this is certified on the title as `actual` miles), a little gem.

Now, this is just opinion, but all of our staff who have driven this car think it is `the best one they can remember.` And when one looks at perfect door fit, reflections in every panel, a perfect floor/inner sills, and evetything else.....I agree. This is one fabulous (and very usable) classic sports car.

(and for very cold weather use, we can offer a powerful auxiliary heater that keeps my two MGs comfy/cozy in temperatures down to 15 degrees........and a modern a/c assembly that does the opposite.....and even a combined unit that does both)
