A beautiful, rust free example, always in Florida until coming North two years ago, never out in the Winter or even in the rain. Black with tan interior.

Runs and drives like new, spotless inside and out, excellent floors and inner sills, black paint looks original but we suspect one repaint, either way, in excellent condition. And just underwent a comprehensive chrome bumper conversion with new bumpers and overriders, new Mk I grille, we even removed the side lights and blended paint in on all four corners.

Excellent tan leather seats, excellent panels and carpets, we carefully disassembled and masked the console and dash and dyed them in a matching Camel. And added a burled wood dash. And a new steering wheel. Interior is superb.

Also note, working original factory installed a/c.....truly a delightful all year `round convertible. AND with overdrive just drained and refilled, new pump fitted, works perfectly.

New hubs, wheel bearings, seals, and a good set of center lock wire wheels fitted. Now, virtually every significant options available when these cars were new.

Other items....new front and rear springs, lowered to pre 1975 ride height (for improved looks and handling), rebuilt front end (bushings, etc), modern stereo/CD, new top, boot cover, luggage rack, carpeted trunk...........AND only 71,000 miles since new (quick calculation...just over 1,700 miles per year). AND judging from the perfect compression, lack of smoke, excellent oil pressure and the engine being nicely painted and detailed....not by us.....good chance the engine was recently rebuilt.

Think about it for a second, WHO in 1980 would have bought this car, ugly bumpers, raised up on the ride height....probably an older fellow who loved to tell his wife how much fun the car is compared to his Lincoln or Cadillac. And, thus, babied as a second or third car from brand new. So now, 41 years later, one has the opportunity to purchase a sensational example with most every conceivable option (later Bs, such as this, have electronic ignition, power assist brakes, larger radiator, bigger gauges, on and on). And have fun, which is what all of this is about.
