Certainly one owner;'s idea of a dandy MGB. And it is.

41,000 indicated miles (on older cars, impossible to verify mileage BUT the entire car is spotless), excellent body and excellent red paint. Spotless engine bay and trunk (and yes same red paint). Excellent drive train, excellent oil pressure and compression, no smoke, AND improved with better manifolds and a 32/36 DGV Weber carb. Has overdrive, one of the most desirable factory options....provides a fifth gear for better highway cruising

Tan interior, tan convertible top, small diameter leather MG steering wheel, dash and console dyed to match the rest of the interior, dash top never cracked, burled wood dashboard, NEW 15" Minilite style light alloy wheels with new 185/65 radials (which provides more proportional aesthetics and offers even higher gearing/better cruising at lower revs), we can see a lot of recent service work done....new stainless steel muffler, new steering column and steering rack, new solid state fuel pump, digital stereo, differential cover resealed, and hydraulic hood and trunk lifts,

To greatly improve the exterior aesthetics, the rubber bumpers have been painted in the same color as the exterior. And to add some former owner's personal touch, the windshield frame as also been painted to match.

AS A LATE model MGB, comes with a larger radiator, twin thermostatically controlled cooling fans, solid state ignition (a better unit than the one supplied by the factory), front and rear sway bars, better wiring and electricals, stronger transmission, a stronger differential than early Bs, better gauges, and even a clock (which after 44 years....still works).

These cars are far more reliable than early MGBs and can be used as daily transport. And if a prospective buyer wishes additional improvements, now or at a later date, we can offer a complete professional chrome bumper conversion, we can lower the car to pre 1975 ride height, offer a matching hardtop, efficient air conditioning and even a powerful auxiliary heater unit. Which on my own two MGBs allows comfortable driving in 25 degree Winter weather.

As it is or with additional modifications, it is a dandy classic MGB with sufficient modern equipment to offer reliable, fun, spirited driving.
