Basically, a nice clean very original car. 75,000 miles, runs and drives very well., 145-155 psi compression in every cylinder, 55 psi oil pressure on a hot day, no smoke, quiet valves and exhaust. We were told the car had been garaged all of its life and when we removed the carpets, the floors literally looked like new. Seats show little wear and same with the rest of the interior As a 'Special Edition' the car has the special alloy wheels that came with the package and original side stripes. Which if you don't want, we can remove with a heat gun.

Just finished a complete professional chrome bumper conversion, we eliminated the side lights, new bumpers, a Mk I grille, new front lights, looks sensational. And beautiful in black with a camel interior.

And a brand new convertible top and a good boot covering.

For now, leaving the single carb which certainly offers sufficient performance for most people. But, of course, we can change it to a Weber 32/36 DGV and improved manifolds for a substantial performance increase. We checked the brakes, installed new calipers and rear wheel cylinders for added security, installed new radials, and checked the front end. It is a lovely car as it sits OR can be looked at as a starting point to add chrome wire wheels, Weber carb, whatever a buyer wants.
